Pit stop

Having children and attempting to go somewhere or do something that’s time-constrained does not go hand in hand. In fact, getting the family unit out the door on-time seems to mean sacrificing such luxuries as brushing ones teeth.

Sometimes it also means that you have to take time out of your scheduled power walk to not return phone calls and not get your heart rate up to fat burning mode. Sometimes it means just the opposite. And so I thank Frederick for getting me to slow down and sit for a moment in the shade of a tree just donning its gorgeous autumn coat and enjoy a beautiful late fall day with him.
